Ohhh hey! Remember me? I got a job and disappeared, whoops. My weekends have been filled with baby showers and bridal showers so I have lots of pictures to share!
My Aunt is due with a baby girl in about 3 weeks (!!!) so my family and I decided to shower her with some love. She is a spanish teacher for High School so we played on that theme.
We ordered food from The Main Ingredient in Annapolis and they delivered it hot and ready to serve!
I took a little bit of everything — Creme Brulee French Toast, Maryland Crab Dip, Spring Salad, Roasted Potatoes and the Torte Milanese (which was vegetarian). Yum!
I was in charge of the dessert table and made sure everything was pretty in pink!
My friend Crystal did the cake — The inside was funfetti, which is my aunts (and my) favorite!
My friend Kiki is extremely talented and made the cake pops. They were ALMOST too pretty to eat!
I made pink lemonade cupcakes, cheesecake stuffed strawberries and strawberry chocolate chip cookies. I’m not as talented as my other friends so my desserts were very simple
Our favors were also a dessert because well, who doesn’t love dessert? My friend Marisa made the cookies and put so much thought into the detail.
I bought the tags and the pink bakers twine off of Etsy and was really happy with the way they shipped them so quickly!
Another part of the shower I was in charge of was the headband station which I named the bebe boutique.
Guests were able to design a headband for the baby to wear once she arrives.
I bought a bunch of random headbands and flowers and hoped the colors would go together.
I can’t wait to see the little bebe in all of these cute headbands!
The headband station wasn’t the only activity we had going on… We had a calendar for guests to guess when the bebe would arrive
Come on May 8 at 4:30 pm!!
My Aunt and Uncle have decided to keep the name from us (RUDE ) so we also had guests guess the baby’s name. I’m ALMOST positive someone guessed it.. We will see.
My other aunt made this adorable sign to go above the gifts, Es Una Nina (It’s a girl!).
All of the guests brought a book for the bebe’s bookshelf — She is going to have lots of reading material!
Jodie and the new baby were so spoiled and got lots of beautiful things!
not to mention the day was absolutely gorgeous
It was a picture perfect day and I can’t wait to meet the bebe! We haven’t had a baby girl in our family in almost 29 years (yes, since me).
